We need help to carry out new projects, join us:
 
1) The gargoyles.
A group will be making 3 or 4 giant gargoyles, depicting symbolic animals. A production workshop with volunteers who enjoy a spot of DIY   begin in January.  The workshop is set up in the old library,3 rue Carnot Chateauvillain. As well as the production team, we need volunteers to carry the gargoyles in local events, including short plays.
 
2) An outdoor summer performance
We are setting up a roving performance, somewhat like Langres’ “Halberdiers”.    This will be in the form of a tour of the town, not led by the usual guide but by a figure symbolic of Chateavillain’s history.   He will guide the audience into a story, asking them "do you have a place in history? "
 
3) Medieval Theatre Courses
If you’re over 15and are interested in  free theatre classes on Thursday evenings, contact  06 88 56 67 94.

4) The medieval garden.
The layout has already been traced on the site of the future medieval garden in the courtyard of the “Tour Auditoire”.   Planting will begin in the spring. We are looking for donations of topsoil and hazel branches as well as people with green fingers.

5) Construction of a pillory
Our goal for 2012 is to construct some Medieval  war machines, but we’re starting with a  pillory this year.
 
6) Restoration of towers 11 and 12
Can anyone lend us some scaffolding this spring to help with our project to re-point  tower No. 12.?   To help out please call: 06 88 56 67 94
 
7) Medieval needlewok workshop
We are looking for clean sheets to make new costumes and banners.
